Spider-Man's Successors

Sep 3, 2012

Spider-man isn't a very good superhero in my eyes. He's not impressive, strong, moral or possess any classic traits of a true superhero. So what does he have to offer? I for one am intrigued by the Spider-man's alter egos. They are Venom (all black costume, sometimes looks blue in the light) and Carnage (all red with black veins). Venom and Carnage are both villains and they are cooler than most superheroes. I don't know if they have any allies, comrades or even cognitive thoughts, they seem like vicious monsters, like the evil that escaped and mutated from the Spider-man and became their own entities. Uncontrollable, unstoppable and unreasonable. How could two such incredible creations have derived from Spider-man, the dorky student who's superpower is the ability to make things sticky.

Instead of another Spider-Man movie they need to make a movie featuring Venom and Carnage, destroying everything and bringing death and destruction in their wake. Maybe start the story with Spider-Man falling to the accumulated force of Spider-Man's combined foes, as Spider-Man is about to be slain, Venom and Carnage emerge from wherever it is they originate from, have a glorious battle with the Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Raven and all the other villains. When the dust settles after the slaughter, Spider-Man struggles to stand to his feet and greet his saviors, but being pure evil as they are, Venom and Carnage  pin Spidey and slay him themselves. And the duo spend the remainder of the movie on a super-powered rampage of senseless evil and chaos.

Who is Chuck Norris

Jul 20, 2012

I would like to know, who or what is Chuck Norris? I am aware that I could do a search online and probably find 12,000,000 results in (0.22 seconds) but I do that at least once a day so I thought this would be more fun to do first.

Anyways, from what I seen Chuck Norris is some sort of superhuman that can do anything without even uncrossing his arms. This makes me wonder, is he a super hero, super villein  or some sort of super human in between. A comic book character perhaps? Maybe with telekinetic abilities. Or maybe a Doctor Who of an older generation.

Feeds such as those on Facebook are at times littered with content regarding Chuck Norris, accomplishing impossible fetes of physical strength. Is he like the Hulk in the sense that he has seemingly unlimited strength under the right conditions but returns to his human form when the job is done? Chuck Norris does not fashion any cape, mask or logo so he might not be a super human.

More likely this Chuck Norris character is an embodiment of power, someone or something with the will and the means to make anything he/she wants to happen, to come to pass. A demigod perhaps, but not in as many words. If this is the case maybe Chuck Norris really is in some ways a modern day super hero, because what is a super hero? In my eyes, a super hero is someone or something that everyday people can look up to, even if they aren't real and see unwavering good coupled with the strength to accomplish any goal no matter the obstacle.

Therefore, Chuck Norris can be thought of as an alternative super hero, he doesn't appear in any main stream comic books, wear a flashy costume or even hold traditional character traits of a super hero, but in a way he could be something people can aspire to be like.

Dinner at Marvel

Jul 17, 2012

The Scarlet Witch baked a loaf of fresh french bread for; Wolverine, Captain America, Spider-man, Iron Man and Hulk. But turns into an intervention for Wolverine about his hand washing regiment.

Who wants French Bread?

Allow me..
**Slice**

...What?

Dude, weren't you, like, slicing up zombies with those claws last night?

I washed'em!

Man, I've never seen him wash those things. Just pops'em back into his forearms every time.
I think I'm gonna hurl.

I just did.

Hulk Smash Puny French.

Hulk vs Thing

Incredible Hulk vs The Thing

Who would win in the battle between The Hulk and The Thing? Two super heros who's key assets are brute force and energy. The Hulk using the power of green and the Thing using the power of orange.

I say the Hulk because he is driven by pure rage and is an unstoppable war machine while The Thing is split between the monster and the man which will ultimately put him at a disadvantage. Secondly, The Thing is made of stone, the Hulk is made of some sort of bulletproof self-regenerating armor which is far better. So yes, the Hulk would beat the Thing every time. Sorry Ben.

Incredible Hulk vs The Thing

However, if The Thing was being backed up by the whole Fantastic Four team it might be a different story. But taking teams into account, The Hulk has a son, a daughter and a bunch of other genetic offspring so the brawl of that magnitude would be awesome.
